From employee to investor, in 4 levels

Each lesson explains the concept, shows you when it happens in the simulator, gives you a tool for your real case and one step to apply it today.

Module 1

Level 1 · W-2 Employee

Organize your paycheck and build your foundation.

1.1 50/30/20 Budget

The concept

The 50/30/20 rule explained step by step: 50% needs, 30% wants, 20% savings. How to apply it to your real paycheck and what to do if it's not enough.Read the full lesson →

In the simulator it happens when…

When you start your game: you get a salary, pay your expenses, and what's left decides whether you move ahead. That first screen is already your first budget.Practice it in Level 1 →

Action step

Today: write down how much you earn and split it into needs, wants and savings with the 50/30/20 rule.

1.2 Cash flow

The concept

Learn to build your personal cash flow in 4 steps: add up income, list expenses and decide what to do with the surplus. With a real, free example.Read the full lesson →

In the simulator it happens when…

Every lap the game adds what comes in and subtracts what goes out. If your monthly flow is positive, you grow; if it's negative, you stall.Practice it in Level 1 →

Action step

Calculate your real flow this month: everything that came in minus everything that went out. That number rules.

1.3 Emergency fund

The concept

Emergency fund: how much you need (3 to 6 months of expenses), how to build it step by step starting with $1,000 and where to keep it.Read the full lesson →

In the simulator it happens when…

When a surprise expense hits —a breakdown, a fine— and you have no savings, the game forces you into debt. With a cushion, the blow doesn't stop you.Practice it in Level 1 →

Action step

Open your fund today, even with $25. The first goal: your first $500.

1.4 The rat race

The concept

What the rat race is and the 5 steps to get out of it: know your numbers, pay off debt and build passive income. Practice it free in the simulator.Read the full lesson →

In the simulator it happens when…

When your salary goes up but your expenses rise just as much: you work more and money never seems to be left over. Going in circles without leaving the track is exactly that.Practice it in Level 1 →

Tool for your real case

Action step

Spot ONE expense that grew along with your income and freeze it this month. That difference is your way out.

Module 2

Level 2 · 1099 Independent

Control debt, credit and taxes.

2.1 Snowball method

The concept

The snowball method to get out of debt step by step: list your debts, attack the smallest and let the ball grow. With a real example.Read the full lesson →

In the simulator it happens when…

When your small debts eat your flow month after month and you can't reach the opportunities the game offers you.Practice it in Level 2 →

Tool for your real case

Action step

List your debts from smallest to largest balance and attack the smallest one today, even with a minimal extra payment.

2.2 Getting out of credit card debt

The concept

A realistic plan to get out of credit card debt: snowball vs. avalanche, how to negotiate your rate and when to get professional help.Read the full lesson →

In the simulator it happens when…

When the game charges you interest and the card payment becomes a fixed expense that leaves you no breathing room.Practice it in Level 2 →

Tool for your real case

Action step

Add up how much you pay each month ONLY in card interest. That's the money you're going to recover.

2.3 How to raise your credit

The concept

How to raise your credit score in the U.S. in 90 days: pay on time, lower your utilization, dispute errors and avoid these 4 common mistakes.Read the full lesson →

In the simulator it happens when…

When you need to finance your first business and your history decides whether credit helps you or holds you back.Practice it in Level 2 →

Action step

Check your credit report today and mark a single error or late payment to fix first.

2.4 Your taxes as a 1099

The concept

As an independent worker nobody withholds taxes for you: part of every payment you receive already belongs to the IRS. If you don't set it aside, the hit comes all at once —with penalties— at the end of the year. Estimating your tax and setting that money aside from each payment turns a yearly scare into a controlled monthly expense.

In the simulator it happens when…

When the game charges you taxes or an IRS fine: if you didn't set anything aside, the hit comes out of your flow.Practice it in Level 2 →

Tool for your real case

Action step

Calculate your estimate with the IRS 2026 Calculator and start setting aside that percentage from every payment you receive.

Module 3

Level 3 · Business Owner

Make your business profitable.

3.1 Break-even point

The concept

The break-even point is the amount of sales at which your business stops losing money and starts earning: your fixed costs divided by what you earn on each unit. Knowing that number turns every decision —a discount, an extra day of sales, a new price— into a clear calculation instead of a hunch.Read the full lesson →

In the simulator it happens when…

When you buy a business in the game and find out that owning it isn't enough: it has to sell enough to cover its costs.Practice it in Level 3 →

Tool for your real case

Action step

Run the calculator with YOUR business's numbers and learn your figure: how many sales a month put you at zero.

3.2 The right price

The concept

The right price is calculated from your cost and the margin you want to earn on the selling price: price = cost ÷ (1 - margin). Confusing margin with markup is the silent mistake of thousands of businesses: they sell a lot, work a lot, and at the end of the month nothing is left.Read the full lesson →

In the simulator it happens when…

When a business earns you less than you expected: the problem is almost always the price it sells at, not the sales.Practice it in Level 3 →

Tool for your real case

Action step

Calculate the price of your main product with the calculator: cost and the margin you want to earn, no guessing.

3.3 Financing without going under

The concept

Financing is a tool with a price: it works when it buys something that produces more than the loan costs, and it sinks you when it plugs holes. Before borrowing, know your total debt, calculate the full cost —not just the rate— and check that your cash flow can handle the payment in a bad month.Read the full lesson →

In the simulator it happens when…

When you take a loan to grow or to plug a hole: the route you take decides whether debt lifts you up or sinks you.Practice it in Level 3 →

Tool for your real case

Action step

Before borrowing, write down how much you owe in total today and how much you pay each month. Without that number there's no good decision.

Module 4

Level 4 · Investor

Put your money to work for you.

4.1 Compound interest

The concept

What compound interest is, with real examples: how to double your money, the rule of 72 and why starting early is worth more than contributing a lot.Read the full lesson →

In the simulator it happens when…

When your businesses and investments start paying you every month without you working more hours: your money is already working for you.Practice it in Level 4 →

Tool for your real case

Action step

Decide today on a fixed amount —even a small one— to invest every month without fail. Consistency beats the amount.
